With 154+ marine species recorded in the area - including hammerhead sharks, sea turtles, tiger sharks and napoleon wrasse - Kedge Reef offers some of Great Barrier Reef's richest reef diving. Water ranges 24-30°C, warmest January, February, March.
Kedge Reef gives you a good cross-section of what the outer Great Barrier Reef offers. Expect solid coral growth, hard corals mostly, with the usual reef fish patrolling. It’s a comfortable dive for anyone looking for a standard GBR experience without any major challenges.
