With 154+ marine species recorded in the area - including hammerhead sharks, sea turtles, tiger sharks and napoleon wrasse - North Wall offers some of Great Barrier Reef's richest wall diving. Water ranges 24-30°C, warmest January, February, March.
The North Wall delivers exactly what it promises: a sheer drop-off into deeper water. Here, we often find a decent drift, which makes for easy diving as you glide past the wall’s overhangs and small caves. Look for larger pelagics cruising by, alongside the usual reef inhabitants tucked into the coral. It’s a solid dive for those who appreciate a classic wall experience without too much fuss.
