With 93+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue whales, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, great white sharks and hammerhead sharks - The Bluff offers some of South Australia's richest diving. Water ranges 14-21°C, warmest January, February, March.
The Bluff offers a solid shore dive, accessible by stairs directly into the water. We usually find cuttlefish here, especially during their aggregation season, along with various reef fish like wrasse and leatherjackets. It’s a good spot for a relaxed dive, particularly if you’re keen on macro life or just want to get wet without a boat trip. Visibility can vary, so pick a calm day.
