Cowrie Island - Sydney & New South Wales

Cowrie Island sits in Port Hacking, a pretty easy boat ride from Cronulla. The dive is usually a shallow drift along the island's southern side, often no deeper than 10-12 metres. You'll likely spot plenty of wobbegongs tucked under ledges and schooling yellowtail, along with the occasional cuttlefish. It's a relaxed dive, good for newer divers or for a cruisy second dive when you're not chasing big pelagics.
