With 199+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, bull sharks, dolphins, dugongs and great white sharks - Hyams Beach offers some of Sydney & New South Wales's richest diving. Water ranges 18-23°C, warmest January, February, March.
Hyams Beach gives you a nice, easy shore dive. Head out from the sand and explore the scattered rocky reef, keeping an eye out for wobbegongs tucked under ledges and schooling bream. It’s a good spot for a relaxed second dive or for newer divers getting comfortable with shore entries. Visibility can vary, so pick a calm day.
