With 199+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, bull sharks, dolphins, dugongs and great white sharks - Inner Reef offers some of Sydney & New South Wales's richest reef diving. Water ranges 18-23°C, warmest January, February, March.
Sydney’s Inner Reef is an easy dive, usually explored by boat out of Port Hacking. It's an accessible spot for newer divers, with a maximum depth that rarely pushes past 15 metres. We often see wobbegongs tucked into the bommies, along with plenty of bream and kingfish cruising by. It’s a solid local reef dive, no big surprises, just good solid diving.
