Mermaid Reef - Sydney & New South Wales

Mermaid Reef, just off the Sydney coast, is a solid choice when you’re looking for a convenient dive with plenty to see. The reef structure itself is interesting, a mix of soft corals and some decent hard coral formations that really pop on a sunny day. We've often spotted wobbegong sharks tucked away under ledges, along with eastern blue groper that are remarkably curious. It's generally a pretty relaxed dive, good for knocking off the rust or just enjoying a chill afternoon underwater.
