With 199+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, bull sharks, dolphins, dugongs and great white sharks - Outer Reef offers some of Sydney & New South Wales's richest reef diving. Water ranges 18-23°C, warmest January, February, March.
The Outer Reef in Sydney offers consistent drift diving along a rocky reef system. We’ve seen plenty of wobbegongs tucked into ledges and schooling yellowtail scad cruising past. It’s a site best suited for divers comfortable with current, looking for an easy boat dive and a reliable display of temperate water species.
