SS Catterthun - Sydney & New South Wales

The SS Catterthun lies broken at 58 metres, a deep challenge off the coast that’s best reserved for experienced technical divers. It’s a classic Sydney wreck, split in two, with the bow and stern sections offering distinct exploration. Down there, you’ll find a good collection of grey nurse sharks often circling, sometimes just hanging out in the hold, plus plenty of wobbegongs tucked into the wreckage. The depth means it's a short bottom time, but the ship’s structure, covered in growth, and the larger marine life make it a rewarding one for those with the training. It’s a proper wreck dive, dark and often with a bit of current.
