SS Currajong - Sydney & New South Wales

The SS Currajong, off the coast of Sydney, is a classic wreck dive for local enthusiasts. Lying upright in around 40 metres of water, she’s largely intact, offering some great penetration opportunities into the holds and engine room for experienced wreck divers. You’ll often find grey nurse sharks patrolling the deeper sections, and the wreck itself is home to schools of yellowtail scad and the occasional wobbegong tucked into crevices. It’s a site that really comes alive on a calm day, when the currents ease off and the visibility extends beyond 15 metres, making the full structure much easier to appreciate.
