With 199+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, bull sharks, dolphins, dugongs and great white sharks - The Gantry offers some of Sydney & New South Wales's richest diving. Water ranges 18-23°C, warmest January, February, March.
The Gantry, in Sydney Harbour, offers a surprisingly rich dive given its urban setting. We've found moray eels tucked into crevices, flatworms gliding over the rubble, and even seahorses clinging to bits of rope. It’s a good spot for a relaxed shore dive, best explored slowly to appreciate the smaller critters. Visibility can be hit-or-miss, so go on a calm day for the clearest views.
