With 199+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, bull sharks, dolphins, dugongs and great white sharks - The Pinnicles offers some of Sydney & New South Wales's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 18-23°C, warmest January, February, March.
The Pinnacles, just off Sydney, delivers exactly what the name promises: a series of rocky spires that rise from the seabed. Divers navigate through bommies and small caves, keeping an eye out for wobbegongs tucked into crevices. It's a solid boat dive for those comfortable with navigating around structure and can be prone to surge on choppier days. We often find schooling yellowtail scad here, making for some decent wide-angle shots.
