Hendersen Island - Western Australia - South

Hendersen Island offers a straightforward shore dive, often used for training or a relaxed afternoon trip when other sites are choppy. You’ll find a sandy bottom sloping gently down to about 8-10 meters, with scattered seagrass beds and small rocky outcrops. Keep an eye out for cuttlefish, octopus, and plenty of pipefish camouflaged amongst the weeds. It’s a good spot for newer divers looking to get comfortable or photographers keen on macro subjects without strong currents.
