With 73+ marine species recorded in the area - including dugongs, great white sharks, humpback whales and sperm whales - Passe de Boulari offers some of Prony Bay's richest drift diving. Water ranges 22-27°C, warmest January, February, March.
Passe de Boulari, inside Prony Bay, offers a relaxed drift dive experience. The current here is generally mild, making it a good choice for newer divers looking to try their first drift. You’ll typically see reef sharks cruising the channel and plenty of the resident reef fish passing by. We find it a solid, easy dive, though not one for big pelagic action.
