TUPAREHUIA - Parerangi - Bay of Islands

Canal del Inglés offers a pleasant drift through shallow channels, perfect for a relaxed dive. We typically start around seven metres, letting the current guide us over white sand patches and past impressive stands of stellate coral. Keep an eye out for nurse sharks tucked under the coral heads; it’s a fairly common sighting here. The max depth of 16 metres makes it a good option for newer divers or those who prefer longer bottom times, with visibility usually around the ten-metre mark. If you’re looking for a chill dive with some interesting reef architecture and a chance at a shark encounter, this is a solid choice.
