With 229+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and orcas - ST JOHN'S offers some of Antigua South Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
St John’s is a small tugboat wreck, sitting upright in just 11 metres of water. It’s an easy, shallow dive, making it a good spot for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed second dive. The tug itself is heavily colonised with sponges and soft corals, attracting an interesting array of reef fish that now call it home. We’ve found barracuda often patrolling the mast, and the occasional moray eel peering from the engine room.
