Epic Encounters of Tiger Beach Diving in Grand Bahama - Abaco
Tiger Beach, just off Grand Bahama, is exactly what it sounds like: a place to dive with tiger sharks. It’s a sand flat, shallow and exposed, where we descend to wait for the action. While the name highlights tiger sharks, we’ve often seen lemons, nurse sharks, and even a bull shark or two cruise through. It's a bait dive, so expect lots of shark activity in a relatively small area. This spot suits divers who are comfortable with close shark encounters and can handle a very popular site; it gets busy, but the sharks rarely disappoint.
