G Fish Watersports Barbados - South Coast

The team at G Fish Watersports Barbados are the kind of people you want to spend a day diving with. We’ve always appreciated their low-key, professional approach on the South Coast. They specialise in small group PADI training and guided dives, so if you like a more personal touch and aren't keen on being herded around on a big boat, this is your spot. We love that they often hit some of the shallower wrecks and reefs just off the coast, perfect for knocking out some skills or enjoying a relaxed second dive. Picture this: gliding over the *Bajan Queen*, spotting a turtle cruising by, then ascending through schools of sergeant majors glinting in the sun. If you time it right, say mid-morning before the wind picks up too much, the visibility can be excellent, sometimes pushing 20 metres. Our favourite tip? Ask them about their early morning trips; the light hitting the coral is just softer, and the fish seem a little less shy before the day boat traffic starts. They’re honest about conditions too, which we always appreciate. If the current is ripping, they’ll tell you straight up.
