Atlantis - Klein Bonaire

Atlantis, off Klein Bonaire, is a gently sloping reef, a nice drift dive when the current is running, which it often is. We typically drop in and let the water carry us past wide fields of turtlegrass and manatee grass. It’s a great spot for spotting the smaller, shyer stuff like Cherub Pygmy Angelfish or the various gobies – Sharknose, Bluegold, Yellowline, Rusty – tucked into crevices. Keep an eye out for foraging green and loggerhead turtles, a fairly common sight here. It's not the most dramatic reef, but for a relaxed drift and some good macro photography, Atlantis does the trick.
