Chachacha Beach - Klein Bonaire

Chachacha Beach, over on Klein Bonaire, is one of those sites we always gravitate back to. It’s not flashy, but it’s consistently good, especially for the macro enthusiast. We love dropping in here, letting the gentle current (if there is one) carry us along, and just taking our time. You’ll spot Lamarck’s sheet coral right off the bat, alongside massive starlet coral, and if you’ve got a good eye, tiny Cherub Pygmy Angelfish darting around. Keep your gaze sharp for Yellowline Gobies perched on sponges and the Atlantic Yellow Cowrie nestled in crevices. We’ve had great luck finding Caribbean reef squid here, too, often hovering just off the reef. It’s a site where you want to go slow, poke around the sandy patches for the Bluegold Goby, and check under ledges. We’ve even seen loggerhead turtles cruising past the manatee grass beds. It really shines in the late morning when the sun angle brings out the colours. Perfect for a leisurely second dive.
