Punt Vierkant - Klein Bonaire

Punt Vierkant, just off Klein Bonaire, is one of those sites we always try to hit, especially on a drift dive. It’s got this lazy, gentle current that just eases you along the reef, perfect for a relaxed dive where you can truly take your time. What we really love here is the sheer number of Green Turtles and Hawksbills just chilling, often right on top of the corals. You'll also spot the occasional Loggerhead lumbering past. The reef itself is a beautiful mix. We've seen some impressive colonies of Massive Starlet Coral and big, healthy heads of Lettuce Coral. Keep an eye out for the smaller stuff too: Atlantic Yellow Cowries clinging to sponges, and those striking Reticulated Brittle Stars tucked into crevices. The visibility is usually excellent, letting you watch Yellowhead Wrasses darting through the turtlegrass beds in the shallower sections. Our favourite part has to be drifting over the wall, spotting Apricot Bass and Graysby tucked into the overhangs. It's a truly serene dive, ideal for photographers or anyone who just wants to slow down and really observe the reef.
