With 483+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, bull sharks, eagle rays, humpback whales and nurse sharks - Phare offers some of Jardines de la Reina's richest reef diving. Water ranges 25-32°C, warmest July, August, September.
Phare, in Jardines de la Reina, is where we often see reef sharks cruising the deeper sections. It’s a spot with healthy hard corals, good for divers who appreciate a classic Caribbean reef scape without the need for big pelagics every time. Look out for the resident moray eels tucked into crevices, and we’ve had good luck spotting eagle rays here, too. It’s a solid, reliable dive that suits anyone happy with a gentle drift and plenty of typical reef fish.
