El Pequeno Reino, or "The Little Kingdom," is a good site for newer divers looking to explore the shallower reaches around María la Gorda. You'll find a gentle slope here, dotted with healthy hard corals and plenty of the smaller reef fish like wrasse and gobies. It’s a relaxing dive, usually with mild currents, making it ideal for getting comfortable in the water.
