With 109+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, oceanic whitetip sharks, sea turtles, sperm whales and manatees - La Peguena Pared offers some of María la Gorda's richest wall diving. Water ranges 27-31°C, warmest July, August, September.
La Pequeña Pared, or "The Small Wall," gives you a taste of María la Gorda's signature wall diving without committing to the deeper drops. It’s a gentle introduction, really. You’ll find sponges and small gorgonians clinging to the rock face, and we've usually spotted schools of grunts tucked into the ledges. It’s a good choice for newer wall divers or those wanting a relaxed second dive.
