With 250+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, humpback whales, nurse sharks, orcas and sea turtles - Shalom Tropical offers some of Punta Cana's richest diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest September, October, November.
We've found Shalom Tropical to be a solid drift dive, particularly when the currents pick up. You'll often see schools of snapper and barracuda hanging in the gentle flow, with plenty of smaller reef fish darting between the coral patches. It’s a good spot for intermediate divers looking for a relaxed Caribbean experience without a lot of fuss.
