Epave Le Gustavia - Cousteau Reserve
The Gustavia wreck, sitting upright in the Cousteau Reserve, is one of those sites we always make time for when we're in Guadeloupe. It's an old freighter, sunk intentionally, and over the years, it’s become home to plenty of barracuda and big schools of snapper that hang around the stern. You can swim through the cargo hold, which is now an open cavern for schooling fish, and we usually spot scorpionfish camouflaged on the deck. It’s a pretty straightforward wreck dive, good for anyone comfortable with a bit of penetration and looking for something more than just reef.
