JULIA - Tobago
The Julia wreck, a landing craft sunk off Tobago in 1957, sits at a comfortable 24 metres. It’s not a massive wreck, but we find it’s got a good story and offers some interesting exploration. Over the decades, the Julia has become home to a decent collection of critters; we’ve spotted moray eels peeking from crevices, nurse sharks often resting underneath, and schools of snapper moving through the open sections. It's a relaxed dive, good for photographers keen to capture some wreck atmosphere without fighting strong currents, and generally suits divers comfortable with a bit of penetration if the mood strikes.
