SAMOS SUN - Tobago
The Samos Sun, a carrier scuttled back in ‘83, now rests in about eight metres of water, making it a pretty accessible wreck for most divers. You can really get a sense of its scale, all 149 metres of it, even after all these years underwater. There’s plenty of opportunity to poke around the superstructure, see how the ocean has started to reclaim the metal, and watch how barracuda hang out in the shadows. It’s a great spot for a relaxed dive, good for photographers or anyone who just wants to spend some time exploring a proper old ship.
