STA. FILOMENA - Tobago

The *Sta. Filomena* sits upright, a small fishing vessel with a surprisingly big story. We’re talking about a wreck believed to have drifted all the way across the Atlantic from West Africa, found washed up in Trinidad, and now a happy home for Tobago’s reef dwellers. It’s only 11 meters deep, so you get plenty of bottom time to poke around the hull and superstructure. Keep an eye out for schooling snapper and grunts congregating under the slight overhangs, with the occasional moray eel peeking from a crevice. It’s a comfortable, easy dive and a good choice for newer wreck divers or anyone looking for a relaxed exploration.
