Fish Den - Roatán

Kitutia is more of a day trip than just a dive site, and we love those. It’s a good two and a half hours south of Mafia, out to a sandy island surrounded by a shallow reef. At ten metres max, it’s a calm, easy dive, perfect for stretching out your bottom time and really scouring the rubble for nudibranchs, crabs, and shrimp. We’ve seen morays poking out of crevices too, and the occasional stingray gliding over the sand. It’s a nice, relaxed spot, usually combined with a beach BBQ and, if you’re lucky, some whale watching on the boat ride back.
