Silver Gardens - Roatán

For those days when Garuae is just a little too spicy, Tombant d’Ohotu offers a gentler but still utterly captivating alternative. We love this site for its sheer fish density, especially if you’re into the smaller, more intricate residents. Picture this: you're drifting along a coral-encrusted wall that slopes gradually down to around 23 meters, sunlight dappling through schools of Pacific Half-and-half Chromis so thick you almost have to part them with your hands. This spot feels like a fish nursery, but in the best possible way. We've seen Bennett’s Pufferfish trying their best to hide, and the vibrant flash of Scott's wrasse darting between coral heads. While the big pelagics might be off doing their thing in the main pass, Tombant d’Ohotu consistently delivers on the details. Look out for the Archer Butterflyfish poking around the crevices – they’re surprisingly curious here. It’s a beautifully relaxing dive, ideal for photographers or anyone wanting to slow down and really observe the reef's tapestry.
