    The Underground Roatan is exactly what it sounds like, a series of tunnels and swim-throughs carved into the reef. It’s a fun maze to explore, with light shafts piercing through overhead openings, illuminating schools of silversides. We'd suggest this site for divers comfortable with overhead environments and good buoyancy control, making it a great option for advanced open water certification dives. Expect to encounter crabs, shrimp, and occasionally a nurse shark tucked away in a crevice.
