WENDY - Roatán

The Wendy, a carrier vessel sunk off Coxen Hole in 1989, rests in just 4 meters of water. That makes it an ideal spot for a leisurely dive or even a snorkel, though we think it's best appreciated on scuba, giving you time to really soak in the details. You can swim right over her 73-meter length, noticing how the shallow depth brings out the colours of the sponges and soft corals that have grown across the metal. Look closely and you’ll find damselfish darting in and out of the crevices, and sometimes a grumpy moray eel peeking from a dark corner. It’s a relaxed dive, perfect for photographers or anyone wanting to spend some quality time exploring a proper wreck without the pressure of depth.
