Block 24 - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Block 24 is one of those easy, warm-up dives we often recommend for new divers on Kadavu. Dropping down to a comfortable 14 meters, you’ll find a gentle slope covered in a good spread of hard corals. It's a nice spot to get reacquainted with your buoyancy, drifting over brain corals and plate formations while keeping an eye out for the smaller reef fish darting around. Think batfish schooling lazily and the occasional blue-spotted stingray tucked under a ledge. It's a relaxed site, perfect for shaking off the travel dust or getting comfortable with your gear before tackling some of the area's more spirited currents.
