Breath Taker - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Breath Taker in Kadavu certainly lives up to its name, not in a heart-stopping way, but more like a slow, steady intake as you take it all in. We often drop in on the outer edge, letting the gentle current carry us along a decent slope. It’s a good spot for spotting the larger pelagics moving through – we’ve seen grey reef sharks and the occasional manta here, particularly when the plankton blooms are just right. This site is solid for intermediate divers who appreciate a drift and want to look beyond the immediate reef wall.
