Golden Gates - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Golden Gates is a mellow dive, perfect if you’re looking for a relaxed afternoon drift without any real fuss. We found a good number of reef sharks here, often just cruising by, plus the usual schooling fusiliers and anthias that really light up the shallows. The reef starts fairly shallow and gently slopes to 22 metres, making it an easy-going site for newer divers or anyone keen on a second, less demanding dive of the day. It’s not a site that will blow your mind with massive pelagics, but it delivers consistent, pleasant Fiji reef diving.
