Grottos - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

The Grottos in Kadavu is a relaxed spot, a good introduction to overhead environments without being too demanding. We like it for newer divers looking to dip a fin into cave diving. You’ll find a series of interconnected caverns, shallow enough that ambient light still filters through, making for some lovely blue hues as you wind your way around. Keep an eye out for sleepy reef sharks tucked into ledges and schooling fusiliers darting through the openings. It’s a comfortable 20-meter max depth, so no decompression worries here, just a gentle exploration.
