Hakuna Matata - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Hakuna Matata offers a relaxed introduction to Kadavu’s reef system, sitting at a gentle 20 meters. It’s ideal for newer divers or those looking for an easy, current-free swim. We often spot groups of blacktip reef sharks patrolling the outer edge, and the shallower coral bommies are home to busy clownfish and nudibranchs if you slow down and look closely. It’s not the dramatic drop-off you find elsewhere on the Astrolabe, but it’s a solid, enjoyable dive for a leisurely afternoon.
