Hooligan’s Rock - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Hooligan’s Rock off Kadavu is a straightforward, pleasant dive, a good way to ease into the reef system here. We drop onto a rocky outcrop, coral-covered, that bottoms out around 25 metres. It’s a nice spot for beginner divers, or anyone who just wants a relaxed swim-around. You’ll typically see a good selection of the usual reef suspects, like surgeonfish and parrotfish, picking over the corals, and if you go slow, you might spot a few nudibranchs tucked away. No strong currents to worry about here, just easy diving.
