No Viz Reef - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Don't let the name throw you. No Viz Reef isn't always a pea-souper, though on some days, after a big rain, you'll understand where it came from. Typically, visibility here is quite good for a shallow reef, usually around 10-15 metres. It’s a gentle spot, maxing out at 13 metres, making it ideal for those just getting comfortable in the water or for a relaxed second dive. Look out for the resident moray eels peeking from the cracks and smaller reef fish darting between the soft corals. We often spend a good chunk of time here just observing the little critters; it’s a calm, easy dive for any skill level.
