Patriot Reef sits comfortably within the sheltered waters of Kadavu, making it a solid choice for those just getting their fins wet. We've found the shallow profile, maxing out at a gentle 18m, pretty forgiving, often with mild currents. It’s a good spot to settle in, practice buoyancy, and get comfortable seeing the usual suspects: anemonefish darting in their homes, a few curious parrotfish grazing, and the occasional whitetip reef shark cruising by if you're lucky. If you're after a relaxed dive without needing to push any limits, Patriot Reef delivers a pleasant hour underwater.
