Purple Haze - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Purple Haze is a solid dive, a good stop if you’re exploring the Great Astrolabe. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it consistently delivers a pleasant experience. We like dropping in on an incoming tide when the current isn’t too feisty. That’s when you get a nice drift along the reef wall, spotting nudibranchs clinging to the corals and schools of blue-green chromis darting around. It’s a good choice for intermediate divers looking for a relaxing cruise through some healthy reef, typically with decent visibility down to its maximum depth of 22m.
