Underwater Phantasea - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Underwater Phantasea on the Great Astrolabe Reef is a really pleasant introduction to Kadavu's diving, especially if you're just getting your fins wet. Dropping to a gentle 20 metres, it’s mostly about drifting over the coral, which is pretty healthy here. We’ve seen a decent variety of reef fish – parrotfish, schooling fusiliers, the usual suspects – just cruising along. It’s a very relaxed dive, easy for beginners, with generally mild currents, making it a good spot to get comfortable before tackling some of the area's more spirited sites.
