With 382+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, humpback whales and sperm whales - Why Not offers some of Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef's richest diving.
Why Not offers a relaxed dive, perfect for getting comfortable with the reef. It’s mostly hard coral, with some impressive table corals that often shelter small reef sharks or schooling snapper. We’ve had some lovely encounters here with hawksbill turtles grazing on the bommies, and the currents are typically gentle, making it a good spot for newer divers or those who just want to take it slow. A solid choice for a second dive of the day, with plenty to keep your eyes busy at shallower depths.
