With 140+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, eagle rays, humpback whales, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Pa’ipa’i offers some of Bora Bora's richest diving. Water ranges 27-29°C, warmest February, March, April.
Pa'ipa'i is a good spot for a relaxed drift dive, though currents can pick up, so check with your local guide. You'll often find yourself gliding along with plenty of reef fish, particularly dot and dash butterflyfish and six-line wrasse weaving through the coral. Keep an eye out for larger visitors too; we’ve had solid sightings of oceanic manta rays here, just cruising by. It’s a solid pick for divers looking for a mellow but rewarding dive in Bora Bora.
