With 197+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, dolphins, giant moray eels and grey reef sharks - Garuae Pass offers some of Fakarava's richest wall diving.
Big Wall, true to its name, is a sheer drop, plummeting into the deep off the coast of Kas. We found it a decent spot for a drift dive, letting the current carry us past the vertical face. You'll see a scattering of Mediterranean fish and some soft coral, but it's the topography that’s the main draw here. Suitable for intermediate divers who appreciate a good wall dive.
