Magic Kingdom
Why dive here
With 297+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, giant moray eels, grey reef sharks and seahorses - Magic Kingdom offers some of Yap's richest diving. Water ranges 29-30°C, warmest June, July, October.
Magic Kingdom is one of those easy Yap dives, topping out at 21 meters. It’s mostly a sandy slope punctuated by bommies, a gentle drift where we often spot stingrays gliding along the bottom. You’ll find plenty of gobies and their pistol shrimp buddies, plus schools of fusiliers. It's a relaxed site, perfect for beginners or a chilled-out second dive.
