With 297+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, giant moray eels, grey reef sharks and seahorses - Reef Wall offers some of Yap's richest wall diving. Water ranges 29-30°C, warmest June, July, October.
Yap's Reef Wall is a classic Pacific drop-off, a vertical face that plunges into the deep. We’ve seen grey reef sharks patrolling the edge, and the occasional manta ray gliding by in the blue. It’s a site for divers who appreciate dramatic topography and pelagic encounters, usually with a bit of current to keep things interesting. Visibility here is generally excellent.
