With 428+ marine species recorded in the area - including bull sharks, manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), seahorses and sea turtles - Kinmenone offers some of Ishigaki & Yaeyama's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 23-30°C, warmest July, August, September.
Kinmenone is a straightforward dive, topping out at 18 metres, making it ideal for beginners getting comfortable in the water. You’ll spend most of your time exploring the sandy patches and the scattered coral bommies that rise from the seafloor. Look closely, and you’ll often find smaller reef fish darting between the soft corals. It's a relaxed, easy dive, good for shaking off the rust or practicing buoyancy.
