They’re a 5-star IDC Resort, which means they can take you all the way from Open Water to Instructor Development. We love how focused they are; it means their instructors live and breathe the PADI system, making for super smooth courses. Ishigaki diving can throw some curveballs, especially with currents, but MOANA’s instructors know these waters intimately. We've always found their briefings thorough and their dive leading careful, especially around the famous Manta Scramble where things can get busy. They really shine when guiding newer divers through sites like Yonehara Wreck or the calmer coral gardens of Kabira Bay. Our favourite tip? Try to get out with them on a weekday if you can; the Manta Scramble is a different experience with fewer boats around.
